Foggy

It was a very damp and foggy day to be visiting Hayling Island but I wanted to see the latest progress with the new Railway shed. The doors are now painted a beautiful green colour which tones very well with the surrounding grass.


The new platform is looking very nice and I am told that the wooden sides of the shed will be painted a cream colour. The new gift shop is up and running and the tracks are starting to be laid for the trains inside the shed. There is still plenty of work to be done but it's so nice to see windows and doors. I will visit again in March to see how the work is progressing.
